Q. How much water does the diffuser hold?

A. It can hold up to 180 ml, which is about ¾ cup.

Q. Does the diffuser have lights?

A. There is an LED light in the diffuser, which can be turned off if desired.

Q. Approximately how long will the diffuser run on one water reservoir fill?

A. The diffuser will run a maximum of 4 hours on high mode, 8 hours on low mode and 10 hours on intermittent mode on a full water reservoir.

Q. Will the unit automatically shut off when the water level gets too low?

A. There is an automatic shutoff feature, allowing the unit to cease running when the water reservoir is empty.

Q. Is it okay to have my diffuser next to my refrigerator?

A. We do not recommend placing a diffuser close to a refrigerator or fan (or other cold sources) because cold air would reduce the mist effect. It won’t do any damage to the diffuser, just the coverage space could be slightly reduced in a cooler condition.

How to Use

  • Remove both outer and inner lids.
  • Add water until level reaches, but does not exceed, the red water fill line marker.
  • Add 5-8 drops of essential oil.
  • Replace both lids back onto the unit; align the groove on the outer lid to the notch on the base.
  • Plug the power adaptor into a power outlet.
  • Press the on/off button to switch on.
  • The unit should be producing mist and the LED light should be on.

The diffuser will run a maximum of 4 hours on high mode, 8 hours on low mode and 10 hours on intermittent mode. Refer to the Dewdrop Diffuser Operation Manual for in-depth instructions.

Cleaning

  • Always turn off and unplug the diffuser prior to cleaning.
  • To ensure proper performance, clean the ultrasonic plate and lid after each use.
  • If essential oil begins to build up on the ultrasonic plate, gently wipe it off using a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  • If essential oil begins to build up on the lid, gently wipe it off using mild soap and water only.
  • Never use a corrosive detergent to clean the ultrasonic plate or damage will occur.
  • Periodically check under the diffuser to keep the fan intake free of debris.
  • When not in use, clean the diffuser and store dry.
