Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why was Seedlings Linen Spray reformulated? A. Due to sourcing limitations on an ingredient we were forced to reformulate our Seedlings Linen Spray. Only minor formula changes were made to the base. Please rest assured that the product performance was not impacted by these changes.
Q. How has the Seedlings Linen Spray changed? A. The biggest change to Seedlings Linen Spray affected the source of our naturally derived solubiliser, which has the same performance, without supply chain concerns. The purpose of a solubiliser is to keep the essential oils from separating out of the water-based formula.
Q. Have the formulation changes resulted in a different user experience? A. While there have been a few minor changes to the Seedlings Linen Spray formula, it was formulated to remain as close to our original formula as possible in order to provide the same experience you have come to know and love.
Q. What ingredients were added to the most recent Seedlings Linen Spray formulation and why? A. The main reason we had to revise the Seedlings Linen Spray was due to a supply chain issue we had with the naturally derived solubiliser Polyglyceryl-5 Oleate. The purpose of the solubiliser was to keep the essential oils from separating out of the water-based formula. We used a similar naturally derived solubiliser Polyglyceryl-6 Oleate and Sodium Surfactin to replace the Polyglyceryl-5 Oleate which has similar performance. We also took this opportunity to make a few minor base improvements that help improve the product quality, without compromising performance. We added Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract to help provide emulsion stability, Sodium Phytate which included alcohol at a very minimal level to act as a chelator (stabiliser), naturally derived Benzyl Alcohol to assist with preservation and Sodium Hydroxide to assist with PH adjustments.
